City lawyer Hardip Singh Bir has been appointed as Additional District and Sessions Judge by the state government on the recommendations of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
“Hard work and consistency in studies coupled with the blessings of God can lead you towards achieving your goals,” said the newly appointed ADJ.
“It was a dream of my father, Roshan Singh, to see me serving society as a judicial officer. Though I could not make it possible during his lifetime, I am happy that I fulfilled his wish,” said Bir.
Grateful to the almighty, Bir attributes his success to the support of his family and seniors in profession ML Sharma and Pawan Ghai.
He did his graduation in law from Panjab University, Chandigarh, in 2002. Since then he has been practicing at Ludhiana. He had good experience of work in criminal and civil cases.
He has been given first posting at Amritsar. He cleared the interview in the last week of February.
The legal fraternity feels elated over his success and terms it as a feather to the cap of the District Bar Association (DBA), Ludhiana.
