Secretary of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Krishan Kumar has congratulated the management, teachers and students of the government schools of Punjab on good performance of students in the Class X examinations.
According to the PSEB, extra classes taken by various government schools in all districts during gazetted holidays have helped the students excel in the exams.
Appreciating the efforts, the secretary said teachers had made sincere efforts to improve results of the students. They thoroughly watched the subject-wise performance of the students. Attention was then paid to weak subjects, he said.
The performance of public schools has improved. The number of schools with 100 per cent result increased from 104 last year to 904 this year.
