1,028 senior citizens inoculated in Mohali


Mohali, March 12

As many as 1,028 senior citizens and 116 persons aged between 45 and 59 with comorbidities got the first shot of the Covid vaccine in Mohali district today.

As many as 178 healthcare workers got the first shot, while 92 received the second dose of the vaccine. As many as 269 frontline workers got the first shot, while 187 were administered the second dose.

As of now, 9,049 senior citizens and 1,316 persons aged between 45 and 59 with comorbidities have received the first shot of the vaccine. In the healthcare worker category, 6,789 have got the first shot, while 3,406 have received the second dose. In the frontline worker category, 5,285 have got the first dose, while 668 received the second dose of the vaccine. — TNS
