Zirakpur: A three-year-old girl in Ward No. 5 here died in the wee hours of Sunday after complaining of vomiting and loose motions. Sunaina’s parents complained that their daughter died of diarrhoea. Baltana residents said they had been getting dirty water for the past two days and despite complaining to the MC officials, no action had been taken so far. Cricket trials begin today

Over 100 units of blood collected
Ropar: A total of 125 units of blood were collected at a blood donation camp at the Anandpur Sahib Civil Hospital near here on Sunday. The camp was held in the memory of Shadi Lal Angra, a social activist and former president of the Anandpur Sahib Municipal Committee.
