4-yr-old girl raped by school cab driver

A four-year-old girl, a nursery student, was raped by her school cab driver, Suresh (39) in the Shahbad Dairy area of Rohini, a police official said.

The girl is staying with her parents in Sector-25, Rohini. The girl is studying in a well-known play school in the vicinity. The family of the girl to keep her safe and comfortable tied up Suresh, who also owns the cab, .

As per the family, Suresh, who ferried over 10 children from the school, used to drop the girl in the last and during that period, he molested her.

The incident happened last week and as the school was closed during the festival for the past few days. The girl was at home.

As per the family, the girl for long time was also avoiding going to school and cried whenever they told she has to go to school in the cab.

On October 22, the girl told her ordeal to her mother when she was getting her ready for the school and the girl started crying.

The family reported the matter to the police. As per a senior police officer, the girl was sent for medical test at Baba Sahib Ambedkar Hospital that confirmed the molestation.

An FIR was registered and the cab driver was arrested on the same day from near his house in Sector 20, Rohini. A case was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO), the officer said.
