Chandigarh, January 24
There was no major impact of the strike call by the Haryana Roadways employees in the state on Wednesday as buses plied as usual on most routes.
In Yamunanagar, many Haryana Roadways buses did not operate, but private buses plied as usual.
Phool Kumar, senior leader of Haryana Roadways Sanjha Morcha, said the government was not fulfilling their demands, so they had to resort to strike.
There was no major impact of the strike in Karnal. In Faridabad, all government and private buses plied as usual. Only a handful of employees in the local depot marked their absence from work.
In Gurugram, there was no effect on the bus service as only a handful of employees joined the strike call. There was no visible impact of the strike in Jhajjar and Bahadurgarh.
