Congress workers on Tuesday burnt an effigy of BJP state president Satpal Satti to express their resentment over his remarks against Congress president Rahul Gandhi. They alleged that Satti had used abusive language against Rahul, which was not acceptable.

They raised slogans against the BJP leader and demanded an unconditional apology from him. On the other hand, BJP spokesperson Ajit Kapoor defended Satti and alleged that the “Congress was misleading the people of the state on this issue”. TNS

Effigy burnt

Dharamsala: The Youth Congress burnt the effigy of Satpal Satti here. Former deputy advocate general and loyalist of former CM Virbhadra Singh Vinay Sharma filed a complaint with the SP, Kangra, against Satti, demanding the registration of a case against him. TNS
