Solan, July 28
Vehicular traffic on the Nahan-Kumarhatti highway was blocked for several hours after huge boulders fell on it near Sarahan around 7 am today.
Earth moving machinery was pressed into service to remove big boulders from the road and the exercise took several hours. It being a key highway that connects Nahan town with Shimla and other places in Sirmaur district, vehicles were stranded on its both sides for at least two hours.
Additional SP, Sirmaur, Babita Rana said that the boulders were removed from the road and
traffic movement started in the afternoon.
