Nawanshahr Congress MLA Angad Saini today tied the nuptial knot with Congress MLA from Rae Bareilly Aditi Singh as per Sikh rituals at his residence here.
It being an inter-religion marriage, Angad had married Aditi as per Hindu rituals on November 21 in Delhi. Aditi is the daughter of five-time MLA Akhilesh Pratap Singh while Angad’s father Parkash Singh and mother Guriqbal Kaur had been MLAs from Nawanshahar. His uncle Dilbagh Singh had been a six-time legislator.
Angad’s marriage function today was attended by Congress leaders, including former CM Rajinder K Bhattal, Speaker Rana KP Singh, Anandpur Sahib MP Manish Tewari, Ludhiana MP Ravneet Bittu, former ministers Rana Gurjeet and Lal Singh and Balachaur MLA Darshan Lal Mangupur. SAD leaders Bikram Majithia and Banga MLA Dr Sukwhinder Sukhi and AAP Garhshankar MLA Jai Kishan Rori too were present.
