State set to get first ‘pink toilet’ in Udhampur

Jammu: Government College for Women, Udhampur, will soon become the first public space in the state to have a pink toilet.



Jammu: Government College for Women, Udhampur, will soon become the first public space in the state to have a pink toilet. The foundation stone for the new concept washroom was laid on Monday by Deputy Commissioner Ravinder Kumar, an official spokesman said. He said the first-of-its-kind facility would be constructed by the rural development department under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. During an interaction with students, Kumar said the pink toilet is a rare facility for girls in the country. PTI
