Ludhiana, September 25
A digital training programme was organised for anganwadi workers and supervisors of 11 districts of the state from September 21 to 25. The programme was organised by the Department of Social Security and Development of Women and Children. The programme was conducted with the support of Dr Deepika Vig, professor and head, Human Development and Family Studies, PAU.
As many as 55 anganwadi workers and supervisors from 11 districts of the state attended the training. Gulbahar Singh, district programme officer, Ludhiana, was appointed as the nodal officer by the department for the training. The training was conducted on the importance of good health.
Discussion about good mental health, soft skills in human beings, good parenting, controlling self-emotions, and solving mental and social problems was conducted during the training. — TNS
