Guest faculty assistant professors have announced to intensify their protest if their jobs are not secured by the state government. Their protest entered 37th day on Thursday.
Falwinder Verma of the Government College for Girls, here, alleged that they were giving a warning to the government that the teachers would intensify the ongoing protest of guest faculty assistant professors of government colleges, to chalk out further action at the state level in coming days in collaboration with the BKU (Ekta Ugrahan).
“A delegation of the professors held a successful meeting with BKU (Ekta Ugrahan) leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan at the Tikri Border, Delhi. He assured all kind of cooperation,” he said.
He said they had been staging protests for the past 37 days against the state government’s deadly policies but the government failed to hear the voice of protesting professors to date.
“We demand from the government to give us a written assurance to secure our jobs at the earliest,” the teachers said.
