Man booked for sodomising minor boy

Ludhiana: A man sodomised a 17-year-old boy at Salem Tabri while his friend shot a video of the act. The accused have been identified as Michael Mattu and Shekhar Mahajan, residents of Peeru Banda. On August 21, Mattu took the boy to the house of his friend Shekhar in Salem Tabri where the former sodomised the boy and when he objected, Mattu threatened him of dire consequences. Shekhar made a video of the act. Later, the accused again asked the boy to accompany them otherwise they would viral his video in social media. They had also warned the boy not to inform about the incident to anybody. It was only when the boy suffered acute pain in his private part, his father took him to a hospital where the victim told him about the incident. Earlier, an objectionable video of the boy had also gone viral in social media. Inspector Gopal Krishan said a case under the POCSO Act was registered against Michael while charges of criminal conspiracy and under the IT Act were framed against Shekhar, who shot a video and viral the same in social media.
