Ludhiana: The All-India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) and Bank Employees’ Federation of India (BEFI) have decided to go ahead with the nation-wide strike on Tuesday, in the absence of any positive outcome after holding meetings with officials concerned. “We exhort all our unions and members all over the country to go ahead with the strike and make it a stupendous success. Banking operations will hit as about 3.5 lakh employees in AIBEA and BEFI will take part in the strike,” a press release said. TNS
