AMRITSAR: To inculcate healthy eating habits in children, a food festival was organised at Spring Blossoms.



Amritsar, February 17

To inculcate healthy eating habits in children, a food festival was organised at Spring Blossoms. The festival that commenced on February 5 culminated here today. The competition was divided into four categories — salads, snacks, starters, main course and desserts wherein 120 mothers participated and presented their culinary skills. Dietician Ridhi Khanna, international food blogger Sukhmani Sakhi, yoga expert Jasmine Singh, and food counsellor and entrepreneur Gayatri Peshawaria presided over the event and adjudged the participants. Principal Anupama Mehra said, “It is very important for us as parents to develop our children’s taste buds for healthy food. ”She also acknowledged the efforts of the mothers. — TNS
