AMRITSAR: Around 800 student-artists from 14 colleges participated in 34 events of music, theatre, dance, literary and fine arts in the zonal youth festival of ‘A’ zone of Guru Nanak Dev University.

Amritsar, October 17

Around 800 student-artists from 14 colleges participated in 34 events of music, theatre, dance, literary and fine arts in the zonal youth festival of ‘A’ zone of Guru Nanak Dev University. The colleges were divided into two sections — A and B.

Khalsa College, Amritsar, emerged as champion, followed by BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, and third prize was bagged by Guru Nanak Dev University Campus, Amritsar. In the B-division, Shahzada Nand College, Amritsar, bagged the champion’s trophy. Trai Shatabdi GGS Khalsa College, Amritsar, stood second and SDSPM College for Women, Rayya and Khalsa College of Law were third in their zone. — TNS
