Spring Dalean’s work occupies place on WWF calendar

AMRITSAR: A poster prepared by Savroop Singh, Class V student of Spring Dale Senior School, has bagged a place of eminence in the WWF calendar for 2019.

A poster prepared by Savroop Singh, Class V student of Spring Dale Senior School, has bagged a place of eminence in the WWF calendar for 2019.

The calendar features the winning posters created by students from classes III to VIII from states across India. In a missive to Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, Amritsar, Radhika Suri, director, environment education, WWF-India, said that the annual calender of WWF for 2019 featured Savroop Singh’s poster in the month of June.

Giving details, Rajiv Kumar Sharma said in 2017, Savroop Singh had participated in and emerged as one of the winners in the Wild Wisdom Poster Making Competition conducted by WWF-India.

“His poster was based on the topic ‘ Life on Earth: 100 years from now’, which was the theme of the competition. It was selected as one of the winning posters. The WWF-India has compiled a calendar of all the winning posters with Savroop Singh’s work too occupying a place of pride in it. The school is proud of his achievement,” said Sharma.
