GNDU exams postponed

BATHINDA: The Guru Nanak Dev University has postponed the annual and semester theory examinations of the university as teaching staff being occupied in the municipal election duties.

The Guru Nanak Dev University has postponed the annual and semester theory examinations of the university as teaching staff being occupied in the municipal election duties.

The examination scheduled to be held on 08-12-2017, 09-12-2017 and 16-12-2017 as per the date sheet issued earlier shall now take place on 08-01-2018, 09-01-2018 and 11-01-2018, respectively. The change is visible under credit based evaluation system. Students appearing in examinations under credit based evaluation system should contact their respective Head of Department, Coordinator, Principal of the college for new dates of the examinations.

Dr Manoj Kumar, Professor in-charge (Examinations), GNDU said, “Time and centres of examinations shall remain the same. Candidates can contact principal of the college or superintendent for detail information.”

Notably, the Punjab and Chandigarh College Teachers’ Union held a meeting and protested against the assignment of poll duties to faculty members of various colleges.
