Intel opens ‘Unnati Kendra’ in Karnal

KARNAL: Aiming at providing skill and digital literacy training to non-urban citizens free of cost for contributing in Digital India campaign, Intel India inaugurated its first ‘Unnati Kendra’ of North India at Common Service Centre (CSC) today.

Aiming at providing skill and digital literacy training to non-urban citizens free of cost for contributing in Digital India campaign, Intel India inaugurated its first ‘Unnati Kendra’ of North India at Common Service Centre (CSC) today.

Experts from Intel will provide training to the residents of rural areas to make them familiar with mobile, laptop, PC, internet and other gadgets, said Sandeep Aurora, director, marketing and market development, South Asia, Intel.

This is the second centre in India (first being in Telengana). It is a part of Intel India’s programme ‘Ek Kadam Unnati Ki Aur’ for the company’s nationwide plan to create a blueprint for the digitisation of non-urban India.

With CSC, Intel India will set up nine such facilities across Haryana in Bhiwani, Yamunanagar, Hisar, Jind, and Kaithal.
