Cong pays tributes to Rajiv Gandhi

Chandigarh: City unit of Congress paid tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his birthday during a function held at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Sector 35, today. Pawan Kumar Bansal, former Union Minster, Moolchand Meena, former MP, and Pardeep Chhabra, president, Congress, Chandigarh unit, attended the function. While addressing the function, Bansal remembered Rajiv Gandhi as a great visionary leader who initiated the IT revolution and catapulted the country among the strong and developed nations of the world. —TNS
