A quick-fire half-century by Parth helped Kaithal register a seven-wicket win over Chandigarh in the ongoing Haryana U-16 Inter-District Cricket Tournament here on Friday.
Batting first, the city boys were all out on below par 144 in 41.4 overs. Allen scored a 50, while Ajai contributed 22 runs to the total. Vanshaj Vats claimed three wickets for the visitors.
Needing to score just 145 runs for the victory, Kaithal romped home in the 25th over with seven wickets to spare. Parth smashed an unbeaten 60 off 45 balls, while Yograj Punia made 35 runs.
Chandigarh boys will now face neighbours Panchkula on August 12.
