Third accused surrenders before police

AMBALA: The third accused in the Double Singh murder case surrendered before the police last night.

Ambala, November 15

The third accused in the Double Singh murder case surrendered before the police last night. The accused, identified as Prince, a resident of Naraingarh, has been absconding after the murder. Prince was produced before a court that sent him to two-day police custody.

Double Singh, a cook at a hotel in Naraingarh, was beaten to death by three men on the night intervening October 27 and 28 in Naraingarh.

Two of the accused, identified as Chetan and Manish (residents of Naraingarh), have been already been arrested.

The deceased belonged to Uttarakhand. Naraingarh DSP Amit Bhatia, said, “The third accused has surrendered last night and he was produced before a court, which sent him to two-day police custody.”

The case

Double Singh, a cook at a hotel in Naraingarh, was beaten to death by three men on the night intervening October 27 and 28 in Naraingarh. Two of the accused, identified as Chetan and Manish (residents of Naraingarh), have been already been arrested.
