PATIALA:The police have registered case against a bus driver after a woman riding pillion on a two-wheeler was killed in a road accident here in Rajpura today.

The police have registered case against a bus driver after a woman riding pillion on a two-wheeler was killed in a road accident here in Rajpura today. The suspect has been identified as Narinder Singh, a resident of Jalandhar.

The police said as per the complainant, Nirmal Singh   of Rajpura, he was driving in the town on his bike along with his wife Manjeet Kaur, who was sitting pillion, when they were hit by a rashly driven bus. Nirmal said his wife was killed while he sustained injuries in the accident.

The police have registered a case against the bus driver under relevant sections of the IPC. — TNS
