Youth booked in Nangal

The Nangal police on Tuesday booked a 25-year-old youth for a minor girl’s rape. The accused has been identified as Jaswinder alias Lucky of Johal village. 

Nangal Station House officer Pawan Chaudhary said the girl’s father had lodged a complaint that the accused had lured his daughter to an isolated place and raped her on Monday night. 

The Station House Officer said a case under Section 376 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act had been registered against the accused.  The investigation is on.
