Olympus High School conducted an Inter-House Junior School General Knowledge Quiz Competition on the school premises here on Sunday. Students of Class V & VI participated in the competition.
There were eight rounds in all which featured an array of questions from different discipline, including mythology, musical instruments, my India, everyday science and identifying singers, dance forms and landmarks. Some rounds were conducted in audio visual modes as well.
Later, a rapid fire round was also conducted. Atharva House and Rig House were declared combined winners, scoring 150 points each, while Yajur House and Saam House scored 100 and 90 points, respectively.
Principal Anuradha Malla lauded the students for their performances. She said such competitions increased the knowledge and competitive spirit of the students. Teachers Roma Lal, Bindu Tiwari and Seema Dora organised the event.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were School Managing Director Kunal Malla, vice-principal Monika Arora and pre-primary coordinator Shaileja Hazarika.
