Follow martyrs’ ideology: SFI

DEHRADUN: Vipin Joshi, state president of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI), has said students should follow in the footsteps of freedom fighters.

Vipin Joshi, state president of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI), has said students should follow in the footsteps of freedom fighters. It was their duty to work against social evils. He stated this while speaking at a sports competition that started on the ever of Martyrs’ Day here today.

He said Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, Chandrashekhar Azad and Kesarichand had played a pivotal role during the freedom movement. Students from different graduation and postgraduation classes participated in the badminton, chess, table tennis and carom competitions. Himanshu Chauhan, Rajesh Chauhan, Dinesh, Shubham, Nidhi, Priya and Sangeeta were present.
