Chandigarh, April 27

As many as 225 students were awarded degrees at the seventh annual convocation and 10th prize distribution function at the Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector 50, Chandigarh, today. Jitender Yadav, Director, Higher Education, Chandigarh Administration, was the chief guest. He congratulated the graduates and prize winners. He highlighted the role of life skills and value system to be an achiever. 

Principal Manjit Kaur presented the annual report enlisting the achievements of the college. Prof Rosy Walia, Dean, presented the students degrees. 

Six students were awarded the roll of honour. Thirty-seven were given the college colour and 59 the certificate of merit. TNS
