The portals of Hemkunt Sahib in Chamoli district will open on May 25. Army personnel reached Govindghat on Tuesday to proceed for Hemkunt Sahib on Wednesday to clear snow from the yatra route. The Army team includes 25 volunteers of 418 Independent Corps and 117 Engineer Regiment, said Narinderjit Singh Bindra, vice-president of Gurdwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib Management Trust. — TNS
