Srinagar, February 14
One militant was killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in the Kakapora area of Pulwama district of south Kashmir on Sunday.
"An encounter has started in Kakapora area of Pulwama district after a cordon and search operation was launched in the area," an army official said.
He said intermittent exchange of firing was going on between the two sides.
