Mumbai pilgrim dies in Uttarkashi

UTTARKASHI: A 57-year-old pilgrim from Mumbai has died of a heart attack in Uttarkashi district, the police said.

A 57-year-old pilgrim from Mumbai has died of a heart attack in Uttarkashi district, the police said.

Nilesh Devendra Seth, a resident of Mumbai, was on a pilgrimage to the Yamunotri temple in the Garhwal Himalayas. He, along with his family, was staying at a hotel in Janki Chatti and fainted there on Tuesday evening, a police official said. He was rushed to a community health centre at Barkot, where he was declared dead. — PTI
