Digvijay Singh Chautala, JJP-AAP candidate, on Tuesday filed his nomination in Sonepat. His father Ajay Singh Chautala accompanied him. Interacting with mediapersons, Digvijay said he would try to bring in big industrial houses to provide jobs to the youth and facilities on a par with Gurugram and Faridabad.

Digvijay said he had come here to serve people for five years. He alleged that Congress candidate Bhupinder Singh Hooda was here for a short period. Taking a dig at Hooda, he said everyone knew that Hooda would contest from the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi Assembly seat after six months and people of Sonepat would not accept him.

Some people had tried to do this in the Jind byelection and the Congress candidate tried to register his vehicle with a temporary number plate, but people rejected him, Digvijay added.
