Rain throughout the day in Gurugram on Thursday kept the traffic police on their toes as they strove to keep traffic movement smooth

There was waterlogging at the HUDA City Centre in the morning, followed by the Sector 17-18 area, Sikanderpur power house and Daulatabad flyover.

After showers in the afternoon, the police had a tough time managing evening office hour traffic. They issued advisories on the recently launched Twitter handle

Police personnel were on the roads, directing and guiding motorists. They managed to keep congestion at bay though some snarls were reported in the evening
