153 complaints redressed at Jan Manch in Indora

NURPUR: As many as 200 complaints from residents of 10 local gram panchayats were received at the Jan Manch programme organised in Indora on Sunday, out of which, 153 were redressed on the spot, whereas the remaining were forwarded to the departments concerned with 10 days time to solve them.

As many as 200 complaints from residents of 10 local gram panchayats were received at the Jan Manch programme organised in Indora on Sunday, out of which, 153 were redressed on the spot, whereas the remaining were forwarded to the departments concerned with 10 days time to solve them.

Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj who presided over the programme said the the Jan Manch had established an effective system of direct interaction between the government and the administration. He said the Jan Manch was bringing fruitful results in solving people’s problems to their doorsteps and the administration was becoming more accountable.

He said Jai Ram Thakur government had taken steps for the safety and better education opportunities for girls and recently launched a special Judo Karate training for school girls.

He distributed cheques worth Rs 1.84 lakh among 12 beneficiaries under the Beti hai Anmol Scheme. Anita Dhiman, the local MLA, while welcoming the chief guest thanked the government for organising the Jan Manch programme in her Assembly constituency. — OC
