40-yr-old woman dies of poisoning

KANGRA: A 40-year-old woman of Bajrala Gurmarwine today died of poisoning at the Tanda medical college where she was under treatment, the police said here.

A 40-year-old woman of Bajrala Gurmarwine today died of poisoning at the Tanda medical college where she was under treatment, the police said here.

The police said Madhu Kumari, 40, wife of Manoj Kumar of Bajrala falling under Bradi police station, had mistakenly consumed some poisonous substance yesterday. When she started vomiting and her condition started deteriorating she was rushed to the local hospital by her family members. Later, she was referred her to the District Hospital in Hamirpur. She was further referred to the Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College at Tanda in view of her seriousness.

The body was handed over her relatives after a postmortem. The police started investigation under Section 174, CrPC.
