Two persons had a miraculous escape when their car caught fire on the bridge over the Swan in Una city.
Ram Lok, a resident of Dangehra village in Una district, was driving the car, while the other person was sitting next to him. The latter had recently sold the car to Ram Lok.
On seeing the fire, Ram Lok immediately applied brakes and got off the car. The two were going to the Regional Transport Office.
Traffic had to be diverted, while hundreds of onlookers gathered at the spot. By the time firefighters reached the spot, the vehicle had reduced to ashes.
