Protest by ABVP activists

NURPUR: Activists of the ABVP held a protest against the management of HPU at Arya Government College here on Friday. The protesters demanded inclusion of a provision for re-evaluation and re-checking of answersheets under RUSA, reduction of pass percentage from 45 to 40, revision of internal assessment and accountability in case of any negligence while evaluating answersheets of semester and annual examination.  The unit president of the ABVP, Ritik Kumar, submitted a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor of the HPU through the administration. The protesters said the results should be declared on time and vacant posts of non-teaching staff be filled. OC
