Income Tax dept raids premises of former JK finance minister’s son

SRINAGAR: The Income Tax (I-T) department on Thursday raided the residence and seven business locations linked to Hilal Rather, son of former finance minister Abdul Rashid Rather, in Kashmir.

The Income Tax (I-T) department on Thursday raided the residence and seven business locations linked to Hilal Rather, son of former finance minister Abdul Rashid Rather, in Kashmir.

According to I-T officials, the raids were carried out in Srinagar and Jammu areas.

The I-T sleuths have seized documents relating to ancestral properties and businesses of Rather.
