Jalandhar: An event, ‘Talent Hunt Jashan-E-Hunar’ competiton, was organised at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. The department of the youth welfare of the college conducted the competition in various categories. Principal Ajay Sareen was the chief guest. Navroop Kaur, Dean, Youth Welfare, Shama Sharma, coordinator and Meenu Kundra, co-dean, welcomed the chief guest. The function commenced with the lighting of the lamp and ‘DAV gaan’. Grant to set up Kaushal Kendra
Jalandhar: Apeejay College of Fine Arts got Rs 5 crore from University Grants Commission (UGC) to set up ‘Deen Dayal Upadhyay Kaushal Kendra’ on its campus. With this grant, the college is going to begin new vocational courses, which are mainly directed to promote employment skills. Principal Sucharita Sharma talked about the already established courses.
