Kuldeep Singh Vaid, MLA, Gill Assembly, after hearing issues of residents of the Lehra, Gopalpur and Pohir village under the Gill Assembly during a sangat darshan urged the officials concerned to redress their grievances at the earliest.
Office bearers and activists of constitutional bodies of the above stated villages announced to act as bridge between government officials and residents.
He said the Punjab Government is committed for comprehensive development of the state and Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has continuously been launching new welfare schemes for the people as promised during election campaign.
Vaid said the previous SAD-BJP government had failed badly to do any development in the state.
The legislator also highlighted welfare schemes undertaken for various sections of society, including Ghar Ghar Rozgar, Mahatma Gandhi Sarbat Vikas Yojna and Mission Tandrust Punjab.
