Moga, February 6
The Moga police have recovered a 15-year-old girl, a student of Class X who was allegedly abducted by a youth from a nearby village, the police said on Wednesday.
Accused youth Satnam Singh of Charik village has also been arrested. A case under Sections 363 and 366A of the IPC has been registered against him.
Investigations revealed that the girl was abducted by the youth on January 31 from her village.
The medical examination of the girl was conducted at the district hospital, the report of which was still awaited.
The youth was produced before a local court, which sent him to judicial custody for 14 days. — TNS
