SGPC to send jatha to Pak

AMRITSAR: The SGPC has announced to send a jatha to Pakistan to commemorate the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh on June 21.

The SGPC has announced to send a jatha to Pakistan to commemorate the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh on June 21. SGPC’s additional secretary Diljit Singh Bedi said the jatha would leave from the office of the SGPC.

“All applicants have been granted visa by the Pakistan authorities. The jatha will be led by SGPC’s additional secretary Balwinder Singh Jaurasingha,” he said. The pilgrims will visit Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore, besides other religious destinations before returning on June 30.
