England’s women notched up their second successive win as they comprehensively thrashed India A by six wickets in their warm-up T20 game. After restricting India A to a paltry 85/9, the England women overhauled the target and went on to post 210/4 as they batted on for the entire 20 overs. It was left-arm medium pacer Katie George (4/6) who wrecked the home batting after they chose to bat. Advani wins second match in Asian Billiards C’ship 

Pankaj Advani won his second round-robin match 4-1 against Myanmar’s Pauk Sa at the 17th Asian Billiards Championship here on Tuesday. In the women’s Asian Snooker Championship, Vidya Pillai won her second match with a 2-1 scoreline against Iran’s Akram Mohammadi. Amee Kamani defeated Iran’s Parisa Darvishvand 2-0, while Varshaa Sanjeev beat 2-0 against Indonesian Riny Astuty Nasution. In the under-21 category, Shoaib Khan beat Ching Chiu Poon of Hong Kong 4-2 in the snooker league match.

Yuki Bhambri beat Argentina’s Renzo Olivo in straight sets to move into the final round of the ATP Miami Masters qualifiers, but Ramkumar Ramanathan was ousted from the high-profile tournament.
