553 aspirants attend job fair in Barnala

BARNALA: The Punjab Government today organised a job fair for youths at Cultural Centre, Barnala.

The Punjab Government today organised a job fair for youths at Cultural Centre, Barnala. The district employement generation officer supervised the fair and said 553 youths participated in it.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Vikas Kumar said representatives of 11 companies from different states came to the job fair.

“We hope the job fair would provide required help to unemployed youngsters in getting jobs,” the Additional Deputy Commissionersaid. All 11 companies selected total 52 unemployed boys and girls for jobs and training while 175 were selected for loans to help them in starting their own business.
