7 new Covid-19 cases in Chandigarh, 10 in Mohali

Chandigarh, August 13

Chandigarh on Friday reported seven new cases of Covid-19 taking the total tally in the city to 62,024. However, the death count remained static at 811 with no new casualty. Also, 10 patients recovered from the infection in the past 24 hours. — TNS

No case for 2nd day in Panchkula

Panchkula: Panchkula reported zero Covid cases for the second consecutive day on Friday. As a result, the tally remained unchanged at 30,656. The Covid death toll also stayed at 376. While 30,272 people have recovered from the disease so far, there are eight active cases in the district. The recovery rate stands at 98.74 per cent. — TNS

10 get infected in Mohali district

Mohali: After more than a month, the Covid positive cases touched the double-digit mark in Mohali as 10 new infections were reported in the past 24 hours, taking the total tally in the district to 68,521. The district had recorded 11 cases on July 8. No death was reported in the district till Friday evening while two patients have recovered from the infection and discharged. — TNS
