As part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a motivational session was organised for Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) personnel at its Basic Training Centre (BTC) in Bhanu near here today.
Keynote speaker Dr Sonia Cheema, a life coach who belongs to a family that has served in the forces for three generations, delved upon the positivity of thoughts as an important element in leading a healthy and successful life.
She stressed that compassion, dedication, team spirit and hard work lead to self-confidence, conducive atmosphere and enhanced work output. She said learning was a never-ending process and age or sex had no bar on imbibing new ideas and goals in life.
Stating that ITBP personnel are often deployed in tough conditions, Inspector General Ishwar Singh Duhan said qualities of team spirit, hard work and a positive outlook would help them in meeting all challenges effectively and make them more efficient in performing their duties.
