Chandigarh, January 18

Strong determination to achieve his goal and consistent hard work, particularly in the past one year, were the two main determinants that helped Kunwar Preet Singh achieve the top rank in the city in the JEE (Main). He scored a whopping 99.9972380 percentile.

Kunwar Preet, a student of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, has been a meritorious student since childhood. “He is a self-driven child who is always focused on his goal. We never had to worry about his studies,” said his father, Dr Jaspal Singh.

He has been devoting at least 12 hours to studies every day. Long walks, cycling across the city and painting are his way to relax and overcome study stress, share his other family members.

His father further shared that Kunwar Preet kept away from social media and made minimal use of his mobile phone throughout the year. “He used his cell phone only for necessary communication with us or with a few of his friends.”
