The Adviser to the UT Administrator Nitin Kumar Yadav has declared a holiday for all schools in Chandigarh on Saturday. The directive extends to government, government-aided, and private educational institutions.

The move comes in light of India’s 75th Republic Day celebrations held at these educational institutions here today.
