Italian held with satellite phone at IGI Airport

NEW DELHI:An Italian man was apprehended by the CISF at the IGI Airport here today for allegedly carrying an unauthorised satellite phone, a senior official said.



New Delhi, August 17

An Italian man was apprehended by the CISF at the IGI Airport here today for allegedly carrying an unauthorised satellite phone, a senior official said.

L D Giorgi was apprehended after the satellite phone was detected in his baggage. He was bound for Amsterdam, he said.

The man was handed over to the Delhi Police. 

Yesterday, a South Korean national was apprehended at this airport for the same offence. — PTI
