Chintels Paradiso residents have been waiting for the IIT-Delhi structural audit report for the past two months, but it may not be out soon.
Awaiting updates

The audit team had sought documents and clarifications pertaining to 10 key issues, but it has not received any update on seven points so far.
“We are being blamed for the delay, but we are still awaiting updates on majority of the key issues. In our preliminary probe report, we had highlighted the need of this information,” said one of the inquiry team members.
The team had sought the soil quality report, design report, structural analysis report, architectural report, drawings, construction material quality check report, batch card and cube register, pictures of different stages of construction, test surveys, pictures and other relevant documents of the collapse day etc.
Majority of the documents were to be provided by the builder through the DTP. Sources, however, say the IIT team has received only drawings, material test reports and batch card so far.
DTP RS Bhath said, “We have made builder and other stakeholders submit all relevant documents. We will see if anything else is left. At present, we are finalising the name of a structural engineer, as recommended by the IIT team. Once the name is finalised, he will be given all documents. This will take another 10 days.” Meanwhile, the IIT-Roorkee has pulled out from the structural audit of five other societies that were reported unsafe recently.
