A massive fire broke in a Honda car showroom in the Udyog Vihar area. Two employees were trapped in the fire and were rescued by the fire brigade team. Six fire tenders were pressed into service and the fire was controlled in half an hour.

The fire broke out in a four-storey car showroom, located in the Udyog Vihar this morning. Fire officials said it was when employees of the showroom reached on their duty and turned on the AC on the first floor, a fire broke out in the first floor due to a short-circuit in the AC. In this fire, the records of the company, some chairs, tables etc were burnt to ashes. During the fire, two employees were trapped. When this information was given to the Fire Brigade Department, the team took out both employees trapped in the fire, safely.“Six fire tenders were sent to the spot, the fire was brought under control after half an hour. Two employees were trapped inside were rescued safely”, said fire officer Lalit Kumar.
